What happens when you get your dream job in the news industry right out of college, only to lose that job when your boss is let go at the height of the #MeToo movement?

In this episode, I talk with filmmaker Brooks Harris, who went to work for CBS right out of college and eventually went to work directly for Charlie Rose, only to find herself without a job when allegations of sexual misconduct against Rose came out—and confronting her own experience of sexual harassment. Brooks talks about the long process of coming to terms with what happened, suing Rose and CBS, putting her name on a Washington Post article, and ultimately deciding to make Blowback, an independently funded documentary about the unique community of whistleblowers and what it takes to speak up.
